The Open Water Certification Dives with PAN AQUA DIVING at Lake Hydra

Just finished your Open Water Class & Pool and ready to be fully certified? The Open Water training dives are your last step! Through a series of four dives, you will refine your skills and enhance your confidence underwater. Once you are fully certified, it opens the door to so many different levels of diving!

Convenient

You only need to show up at the store on Saturday and Sunday morning and leave the rest to us.  We have transportation arranged to and from Lake Hydra.  The diving accomodations have been designed for the diver's enjoyment at all levels.  There are heated changing/restroom/shower facilities.  We will bring a cooler full of beverages, but please pack a lunch. 

Schedule and Cost

The van is scheduled to leave at 7am each day and should be back in NYC late in the afternoon. Please be on time so as to not keep your fellow divers waiting. The $475 fee* (payable when you sign up) includes all your training, transportation, certification documents, rental of wetsuit and scuba equipment. Lake Hydra entrance fees are $120 for 2 days.

Schedule: Dives are done locally June through October or available to complete on many of our trips.

Equipment

Each student is responsible for making arrangements for all equipment except tanks and weights before the weekend.  Students must try on the wetsuit before the dives but the equipment may be left at the store until the day of the dives.  Students must supply their own mask, snorkel, boots, fins and gloves. If you've taken the class with us, there is a substantial discount that you may apply to the purchase fo this equipment.

• Full Wetsuit and Hood**
• Regulator w/ Computer**
• Buoyancy Compensator**
• Mask and Snorkel (rental available)
• Fins and Booties (rental available)
• Gloves appropriate for Water Temp.
• Logbook and Student Referral
• Bring a Lunch

Lake Hydra has been used for generations of divers!  It has all the facilities needed to dive safely and provide a fun setting for your training dives!  Check the weather for the weekend and dress accordingly.  We will do the dives rain or shine!  After all, you'll be wet in the water anyway!  As mentioned, there are facilities for changing at Lake Hydra.  See you diving.
