FIRST BREATH ON SCUBA: In 1976 I went SCUBA diving with my younger sister & her boy friend. They had a sail boat in Long Island Sound. It was something I always wanted to do and they had all the gear. My most vivid memory was swimming into a jelly fish swarm. I fell in love with this sport & have been doing it ever since. 

BEST DIVE EVER: Diving off the island of Kona in Hawaii. The way the volcano flowed into the ocean, it was like diving in the Grand Canyon. At 100 feet you could see the surface in this crystal clear warm water and the lava was on both sides of you. The marine life was unforgettable. 

FAVORITE CRITTER: Sharks! This must run in my family. My two children & I love to do shark dives (my daughter has trouble staying in the cage). My son & I go out to Montauk, L.I. and do local shark dives. 

WHEN I AM NOT DIVING:  When I am not diving – you can usually find me in church. I am saved, sanctified & filled with the Holy Ghost. In real life I am a Registered Nurse.
