Knowledge Development

Students can either do the eLearning or use the PADI Adventures in Diving Manual. Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation are required dives with the 3 remaining dives decided by location, student, and instructor. We normally do Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck, and DSMB at Lake Hydra.

Prerequisites

Any Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver at least 12 years of age is eligible to take the Advanced Open Water Course.

Where and When

We meet at Pan Aqua on the Tuesday prior to the weekend for an orientation and required pool session. Saturday and Sunday we will travel to Lake Hydra in Bethlehem, PA for the five required dives to complete your AOW certification. The price includes transportation, tanks, weights, and instruction. Passes to Lake Hydra must be purchased through their website prior to the weekend.
